Often pieces require attribution. The most common restrictions are: Attribution must
say to whom the original belongs, NoDerivs (you can't change the image), NonCommercial (can't
use it if you get money), ShareAlike (If allowed to change
and you do it, you have to allow others the same right to use and change
your work.)
Wikimedia - a database of
multimedia files to which anyone can contribute. Check individual
work for CC-License or Public Domain statis.
FlickerCC -
photos on Flicker grouped by their CC license.
